CASE STUDY
Drug Evaluation (DE) Portal Services
Xyntek developed a portal for the Electronic Data Capturing (EDC) operations of the Drug Evaluation Department for one of the top three Pharmaceutical Company. The objective was to provide a single source of information for various project documents, replacing the operation that users browse through multiple shared drives with complex folder structure. The portal was developed using Vignette Application Portal (VAP) version 4.5, on a Weblogic Server, and had the main functionalities of content management with its own content repository, lightweight workflow management, and publishing capabilities. Xyntek led the project to successful completion, enforced user participation through the use of portal, and most importantly increased efficiency of EDC operations.
R&D Portal Services
Following the rigorous Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, Xyntek developed a portal for an R&D pharmaceutical community. The developed portal served as a central repository of open issues, information, as well as web applications.
