CASE STUDY
Machine Vision Solution for the Center of Advanced Food Technology
Xyntek provided machine vision hardware and engineering services to implement a prototype machine vision inspection solution on a food processing line at a State University�?????�????�???�??�?�¢??s Center of Advanced Food Technology. The system identified water droplets, gravy droplets or smears, solid pieces (meat or vegetables), of the size 1.5mm diameter or larger. The vision system comprises of four Charge Coupled Device (CCD) cameras, a Cognex machine vision processor, a GUI built on the Cognex/Checkpoint operating platform, running on Windows NT workstation.
